It is an original cockpit that actually flew 37,028 hours. Even the Beatles and Charles de Gaulle flew on board this very aircraft (more in “History of #58”). Modern commercial aircraft mainly fly with autopilot – operating it does not require a great deal of skill. Here, on board the Caravelle, you can experience and understand the craft of flying as it was common back then – with countless “steam gauges”, as the old round instruments are often called.
Thanks to a great deal of commitment and love for this fantastic aircraft, we can offer you these low prices, because the costs for such a complex restoration are in the six-figure range. You will also be looked after exclusively by active, real commercial pilots who will be happy to answer your questions. A package that you will not find anywhere else in the world in this form.
